Our Project:
Connecting Nigeria's Economic Heartlands on 1,488 km Railway
We are proud to partner with the Nigerian Government on a strategic Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project which will develop a 1,488km cargo railway connecting the Port Harcourt and Calabar seaports to the capital city, Abuja.
Nigeria’s southern, eastern, middle belt, and northeastern regions lack efficient rail connectivity. Inadequate road infrastructure restricts the movement of goods and services, leaving vast economic potential untapped.
This cargo railway aims to bridge these transportation gaps, enabling efficient movement of goods across regions and into international markets. The project is expected to stimulate economic activity, create job opportunities, and promote industrial growth along the railway corridor while reducing the pressure on overburdened road networks.
